My name is Blitz and I’m originally from Gary, In but I was raised in Atlanta, Ga. It’s a place where I literally got to see trap music began and evolve into what it is today. I started making beats when I was 13 furthering my craft for over 10 years now. The name of my production company is Royal Academy Studios.

Where are you located?

I’m still located in Georgia at the moment. Dreams to reach California one day is still in the works.

What’s your sound? Who does your sound relate to?

My sound overall aside from trap has been proclaimed to be very melodic with a dark harmonic edge to it. I would like to think that my trap beats follow these same guidelines because I approach the beats with the same goal in mind. The goal has been to mix up the subgenre yet keep my production in tune with my signature sound.

Who/What inspires you?

My biggest inspiration will always be the late Michael Jackson. Not just because we share the same birthplace, but because of the incredible art he created. As far As production goes, at the moment, I’m being moved by the likes of Metro Boomin, Mike Will Made It, and London On Tha Track just to name a few.

You’re trapped in a small room; your life depends on one dope track. Who do you work with?

Pharell Williams. I’m not sure if I need to explain more on that. He can blend and master the goal every time. Can’t lose.

What’s your plan with the 10k?

Well there’s a wide range of things I would like to do. I have children so i would probably pay a few bills a head of time while being able to have a little fun taking them out. My manager recently passed, and I know some funds can help the family after taking care of recent events. Most importantly, take half and invest it into getting my LLC, Business license, invest into a camera for long term, and put money into marketing and advertising. Seek advisory and being smart is the goal. I have to make my money make more money.

I’m FatT ZakK. I am co-owner and lead artist of PigPen Productions. Father of 2 and dedicated hip-hop artist. I’ve been doing hip-hop 14 years and have grown up in the rock/metal scene watching my cousins and uncles and even my parents struggling to get heard by someone. while they work 40 hours a week to keep me fed and dressed.

What’s your sound? Who does your sound relate to?

If it wasn’t for me growing up listening to artists like Big L GangStarr, King Gordy, Esham, Tech N9ne, Ice Cube, and Tupac- I’d probably be just as whack as the other commercial artists out here. But I don’t like to compare myself to another artist. They influenced my style and my lyricism a lot but I don’t just do 1 style of hip-hop.

My biggest inspirations are honestly my kids and all these garbage rappers that are plastered all over teenagers walls.

10k.. well that’s the down payment for my house and I can upgrade my studio equipment finally! Anything left after a roof is in place and were settled, is gonna buy my sons whatever they want!!

What’s your sound? Who does your sound relate to?

That’s a good question. I would say my sound is all over the place, you never know what might inspire you. I would say I enjoy creating a party trap vibe something that could be played in clubs ect. With the hard street lyrics to match.

Who/What inspires you?

Artist wise: Migos, G Herbo, Trippie Redd, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi, Lil B, Smoke Purp.

Producer wise: Sony Digital, Pierre Bourne, Cashmoney AP, Southside from 808 Mafia and the greatest of all time Zaytoven.

What inspires me to make music: I would say watching anime and just other cool animations. The shows would inspire me by the samples they may use in the background of the EP. Also the personality of the character may relate to myself, then the creativity sparks.

My name is Joseph Pryer, I am a producer/audio engineer from Memphis, TN. I’ve been interacting with music all my life and have a deep passion for music and the arts. I first started producing in 2015, after my mother passed away from cancer and used my music as a way to reflect and cope. My producer name is Israel (my middle name) which means “Struggling With God” which is important to me because in life we all struggle in some type of way, and I’d rather struggle WITH God than without him.

Thats a hard one to answer because when I make music, it’s all about the vibe and the feeling in that moment. But if I had to pin it down; mostly it would be some form of R&B trap but honestly I can do it all depending on the moment.

Who/What inspires you? 

Chance The Rapper would have to be my biggest inspiration. His decision to stay an independent artist worked so well for him and he has paved a whole new road for future musicians. But it’s more than that, his cadence is amazing. He’s more than an artist, he’s a humanitarian, a role model and just someone who generally cares about others and it reflects in his music. A not so direct answer would simply be life and my passion for music, inspiration can take form in the simplest things.

What’s your plan with the 10k?

Man, I’m two semesters from graduating with my Music & Technology B.A. Degree so paying for school would be FIRST priority. Then I would realistically try to fix my credit because it wouldn’t be too much to do. Anything left over would go to funding my own independent label that focus more on music than the money. People shouldn’t have to sign over their masters and publishing rights and become slaves to a label and it’s my dream to have a part in fixing that cycle that kills so many producers/artists.
